Alyosha Barreiro BIO:
In 2009 Alyosha was nominated as best DJ / Producer, Best Project and Best Electronic DJ of the year by the DCA’S (DJ and Clubbing Awards). He has played in several of the most important events in Mexico, managed to place tracks on several important charts internationally and has been invited to appear on several occasions.After six years of study with key figures in the world of electronic music, Alyosha is graduating from the prestigious University of Music Berklee College of Music with highest honors ¨ Cum Laude “and numerous accolades from the All American Schollars” prize awarded to the best student in each U.S. university. He was appointed as one of the foremost percussionists from the University and invited to participate in concerts of outstanding students.On his return to Mexico, Alyosha begins with his solo project in which combines electronic music composed and produced by him, with live instruments, which, processed and manipulated digitally, create unique energetic atmosphere.2009 was a year full of major events for Alyosha as it presented several times in front of mass audiences, some more than 30,000 people as was the case of “Festival Goliath, in cities such as Cabo San Lucas, Huatulco, Acapulco, Monterrey , Guadalajara, Pachuca and Mexico City, in locations such as the capital’s main square, Auditorio Nacional, Telmex Center, Olympic Stadium and CU Sculpture Center and in Los Angeles and Texas.Also in this year Alyosha hill important collaborations with different brands like Pioneer, Kosiuko / Diesel, Ecko Unlimited, Astral Freaks, among others.In 2007, falls within the ‘top charts’ of Mexican radio, with a 1st place of the ‘Beat 10′ with the theme September 11, sponsored by the Beat radio station 100.9 FM. Then, go into the radio voice of Honey Nights with Susy Del Vecchio. Track which also enters the charts in popularity and draws the attention of international audiences. On January 25, 2008 airs Paralyzed with enormous success, track where Alyosha and White shared vocal Avila. In 2009 with the same fate Devórame and enter Sorciere continuous rotation.He also worked in the music for film projects as “Hopelessly Yours” by Emanuel Grunstetin, “Noodle Fight” Diego Arredondo y Recuerdos “Animation Award Winning NY Krups Camila Benitez.Continuing his career, he has taught courses, master classes and written articles on music production published in DJ Concept magazine and in newspapers like “El Universal”.
