The Laredo FireFighters Association presents FIREFEST 2011 @ Lared Energy Arena grounds Saturday October 8,2011 from 4pm-1am.

El Instituto Cultural Mexicano de Laredo y el Consulado General de México, invitan al público en general a celebrar el Aniversario del inicio de la lucha por la Independencia de México, el jueves 15 de Septiembre de 2011 en la Plaza San Agustin, a partir de las 6 de la noche y hasta las 11pm.
Habrá antojitos mexicanos, Ballets Folklóricos, cantantes de música Ranchera, Mariachis, además de la transmisión de la Ceremonia del Grito que presidirá en Laredo el Cónsul General Miguel Angel Isidro.

Join the festivities and experience the joy at the 21st annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing. Every year H-E-B feeds 23 communities and provide complete holiday meals and good cheer to 250,000 residents in Texas.
The Feast of Sharing is the culmination of a year-round commitment H-E-B makes to fighting hunger. In addition to a holiday meal participants can enjoy music, arts and crafts, and kids activities—even an appearance by Santa himself.
Just one Feast of Sharing event equals:
- 3,000 pounds of sliced turkey
- 2,500 pounds of cornbread dressing
- 750 pumpkin pies
- 380 gallons of mashed potatoes
- 140 gallons of turkey gravy
- 95 gallons of cranberry sauce
