Help Laredo’s Own Miss Texas Ana Rodriguez capture the “Miss USA” Title 1st Time in History, Voters will pick Semi-Finalists

Laredo’s own Ana Rodriguez proudly wears the Miss Texas USA crown, but on Sunday, June 19, she will compete for the Miss USA crown. For the first time in pageant history, viewers will help determine this year’s semifinalists!
Let the Miss Universe Organization know that you want to see Ana in the top 15 this year!
“Texas has always had the most beautiful, accomplished women in the country,” said City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas. “Ana’s beauty is only matched by her spirit, generosity and caring attitude, all traits learned from her family, friends and community of Laredo. Let’s help her capture the coveted Miss USA title, so we can show the nation just one more example all that is beautiful and wonderful from Laredo, Texas. Vote, vote, vote for Miss Texas, Laredoan Ana Rodriguez, today until the pageant and help her make it to the semi-finals.”
Viewers can vote up to 10 times a day by going to www.misstexasusa.com <http://www.misstexasusa.com> and vote for their favorite Laredoan, Miss Texas Ana Rodriguez. Citizens are asked to forward the link to family and friends around the reat state of Texas and around the country to help Miss Texas win the crown.
“It only takes five minutes; let’s let the Miss Universe Organization know we want to see Ana, Miss Texas USA in the top 15 this year!,” said Melodie Smith, director of public relations for the Miss Texas USA pageant.

Laredo Bucks this Thursday against the RGV Bees
The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League begin another busy weekend Thursday night (Feb 18th) when they host rival Rio Grande Valley at the Laredo Entertainment Center.

There will be another special season ticket holder raffle at Thursday’s game against the Bees. The Bucks will announce what the special raffle will be later this week. You must be present at the game to win the raffle prize.
As always the LEC, along with the Bucks will offer $2 beers all game long starting when the doors open at 6pm.
The Bucks are currently tied for third place with the Texas Brahmas in the Southern Conference. Laredo will enter Thursday’s game six points ahead of Corpus Christi and eight points in front of Rio Grande Valley in the standings.
